Mike Vestil was a How to Make Money Online YouTube guru. He still is even though he’s trying to shift away from that environment. He was a dropshipper and proclaims to have made $1.5 million in 12 months.
I have never seen him talk about how much money he actually made because dropshipping gurus only talk about their gross income.
In an article I share in the video, he claims to have made $400k in his dropshipping career but isn’t able to share the actual numbers.
Mike Vestil used to sell a course on dropshipping but no longer does. He lives in Bali where he now focuses on interviewing financially successful gurus and coaching clients in who knows what.
Mike Vestil recently made a couple videos about why the how to make money online videos are keeping you broke and average.

I knew instantly he was fake few years ago….
I am happy to see you make a video like this, many people really get impressed when people speak well on cam. The fake Guris all sound the same say the same stuff but if you listen closely it is empty words. People watch his videos because he has many subs but I found how he got his traction by accident. Years back he posted in his blog a viral medium article. I happen to know that guy who was the original author. He chased Mike to take it down but it was too late and he alredy got tons of traffic. This was the 1 thing that put him on the map. I am actually surprised he has grown a lot of subs since then. People do need to know more options but I realized asians connect with him because he seems to represent.

The easiest way to tell if if they're lying scammers is by how old they are. When you have kids like this telling you that they're millionaires it's a lie, they haven't been alive long enough, or a legal adult long enough to have made that kind of money. It's a slow process, and most of the money you make goes to fees, taxes, business expenses and putting most of the money back into the business to keep it going. You end up keeping about 3% of the money you make. And it takes years and years of those 3%'s to start adding up to where you're profitable.

Somehow the YouTube algorithm still ranks some of his videos high even with awful views relative to his sub count…
